Cheers to new adventures. Katie and Ryan spent one of their last days in Austin with me capturing these engagement photos. Ryan was originally born and raised in Germany but moved to the US seven years ago. He and Katie met at university where they first became friends and eventually ended up falling in love.  This year, Katie received a job offer for a teaching position in Germany which leads the couple back to Ryan's homeland and onwards to their next adventure. They wanted to have the session in Austin to signify the place where they met but still wanted to pay tribute to Ryan's German heritage. Scholz Garten was the perfect place where Austin meets Germany.
