Who I am

This site, endochie.com, is run by Chie Endo, based in Austin, Texas. "I," "me" and "my" in this policy mean me. If you have a question about your information, use the form on my Work with me page or send me a DM on Instagram at @chie_endo.

What I collect

What you give me.

• Contact form: your name, email address, what you're reaching out about, and your message.
• Free guide sign-up: your first name and email address.

What's collected automatically. Like most websites, this one uses cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and to show me how it's used. That can include the pages you visit, how you got here, your browser and device type, and your approximate location (city level, from your IP address).

How I use it

• To reply to your message and talk about working together.
• To send you the guide you signed up for.
• If you agreed to hear from me, to send occasional emails about new guides and what I'm working on. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To understand which pages are useful so I can make the site better.
• To keep the site secure and working.

I don't sell or rent your personal information, and I don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Services that help run this site

A few trusted services handle information on my behalf. Each has its own privacy policy.

• Wix hosts this site, stores form submissions and contacts, sends email, and provides site analytics. Wix privacy policy.
• Behold displays my latest Instagram posts on the home page. Your browser loads those images from Behold's servers.
• Google Fonts provides the fonts on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address.
• Instagram, TikTok and YouTube links take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.

I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or someone's safety.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only as long as I need it for the reasons above, for example while we're talking or while you're on my email list. Ask me to delete it and I will, unless I'm legally required to keep something.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
• Ask to see, correct or delete the information I have about you. Use the contact form or DM me, and I'll respond within 30 days.
• Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well without them.

Depending on where you live (for example California, Texas, or the EU and UK), you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, such as the right to know what I've collected or to object to certain uses. I'll honor those requests.

Security

I use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website can promise perfect security, but I take it seriously.

Children

This site isn't meant for children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent me their details, let me know and I'll delete them.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update it here and change the date at the top.
